   I guide fishing trips on Lake Ouachita with my 24 foot Blazer Bay boat, equipped with a 225hp Yamaha engine. All bait and tackle are provided, and fish are cleaned and packaged for you. Lodging is available nearby. I can take up to 4 people and can accommodate a party of 20 with advance notice.

      Come fishing with me amidst the scenic beauty of Lake Ouachita with its surrounding mountain ranges and beautiful array of seasonal colors. Have fun catching Striped Bass on the lake while viewing the many wonders of nature on one of the cleanest lakes in the country, according to the EPA. Nestled in the hills of the Ouachita National Forest, Lake Ouachita has over 1000 miles of shoreline, over 200 islands, and no waterfront homes.

 

         Our quarry, the Striped Bass, is one of the temperate or "true" basses. Stripers are some of the state's largest and most powerful fish and thus provide some of the "Natural State's" most exciting fishing action. All temperate basses feed primarily on shad and other baitfish. They can also be caught on jigs, spoons, crank-baits, and other artificial baits resembling their normal forage in size and action.
